LEAP employs people in a variety of roles varying from direct support professionals and house managers, to program administrators and administrative staff. We require that all employees are well-trained and prepared for whatever they might encounter professionally with safety as a major focus.

LEAP shares the Mandt philosophy of gradual intervention to assist people when dealing with a stressful situation. Mandt is built on approaching a situation with dignity and respect. Each staff member is trained in this approach and its adoption is critical for all employees.

The leadership of LEAP encourages and mandates ongoing training and education for staff members in order for them remain informed.

Full Time Relief Float Position – Temporary

LEAP is revitalizing the Relief Float Department and looking for a well-trained, flexible and dynamic Direct Support Professional to join the team.
This will begin as a temporary position while we develop and implement the program.

The right candidate will fill staffing needs as requested at several LEAP programs. The rate of pay for this position is $16.00 dollars an hour this rate is enhanced due to the high level of flexibility and responsibility required for this position. This may be an opportunity to share your experience, expertise and skills within other programs while enhancing your own professional growth.

To be considered, you must have excellent communication skills, flexibility and be comfortable working in diverse residential homes. The ability to think quickly, work in a team environment
and adhere to LEAP’s mutual respect expectations is a must.
