LEAP, Inc. is a private non-profit organization devoted to supporting people with cognitive & intellectual disabilities to be actively involved in their home communities. LEAP carries out its mission by focusing on three main areas for support: maintaining optimum Health, expanding Communication Options, and having many Experiences of Joy. LEAP supports people in small groups, individualized apartments, in various community supports, and through a small community respite program.

Dear Friend of LEAP,

It's hard to believe we are into LEAP's 30th year of service! How LEAP has grown from those first six consumers to more than 50 is wonderful to behold. This powerful work only takes place due to fine work and commitment of many caring and committed individuals. It's been a very busy time for us as we have recently celebrated our 29th Annual Meeting, two very successful workshops on consumer health & wellness with the Muskie School, DSP Recognition Week and our third Annual Golf Tournament.

We invite you to learn more about our programs and services and to discover our many highly individualized home and community support programs. We will also be hosting an upcoming workshop on Tuesday, November 10th for the Maine Trust for People with Disabilities at FMH in Farmington. Our highest goal is to be the most successful community agency we can be. We welcome your support and participation in this exciting endeavor.
