Alfred started with LEAP in January of 2016. He is a native of Livermore Falls and graduate of Mt. Blue High School. After school, he joined the Coast Guard and spent five years on buoy tenders in Sitka, Alaska, and Newport, Rhode Island. Upon returning home, he worked for several years in area paper mills and construction. After receiving his associates degree in occupational health and safety, Alfred worked as the safety technician for a number of companies such as Bates College, E.S. Boulos, W.H. Lane and also served as the corporate safety director for Noble Enterprises based out of Melbourne, Florida. After leaving the construction industry, he entered the human services field as a teacher’s assistant serving children with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities at Riverdale Country School and Horace Mann Academy. In 2014, he returned home to Maine, where he worked as a DSP for Goodwill of NNE. He enjoys playing music and attending concerts, video games, riding motorcycles and soccer.
