Kyla Wheeler began working as a DSP with LEAP in 2008. After learning about the company through many different positions – accounting assistant, shared living liaison, community supports house manager - she has now found her place as administrator for both the Anson Street program as well as the site on Industry Road. Her position allows her to continue striving to ensure people are receiving the support, compassion and respect that everyone deserves. Before coming to LEAP, Kyla worked for several years as a substitute teacher and Ed Tech in the SAD 9 school district and also attended UMF. Currently, when she's not in her office or traveling between her two programs, you can find Kyla on the stage with local improv comedy group "Teachers' Lounge Mafia," or backstage as a member of the board of directors for the Sandy River Players.
