Sherry Walrath is a retired American Sign Language interpreter. She served as a public school special education teacher and as an adjunct professor taught ASL at several universities, most recently at the University of Maine at Farmington. She continues to teach sign language to direct support professionals who work with persons who are deaf and cognitively challenged.
