Donate/Support LEAP

The majority of LEAP’s funding for services comes from state and federal funds, but not all of an individual’s needs are covered. Fundraising efforts and donations help support several of our programs and endeavors, including the DREAM Respite Program. Below are descriptions of the specific ways your donation can help LEAP fulfill these needs for disabled citizens in our communities.

1. Click the “Donate” button and you will be redirected to PayPal to complete your donation.
2. Enter the amount of your donation. Please, consider checking the box to make it a monthly donation.
3. Enter where you would like your gifts to be directed, from the donation program descriptions below.

Thank you so much for strengthening our communities by supporting LEAP’s mission!

Franchetti Recreation Fund
The Franchetti Recreation Fund—named after a Direct Support Professional who tragically lost his life a number of years ago, this fund provides money to the individuals we support for fun things they could not otherwise afford, like trips or concerts.

Volunteer Opportunities – LEAP works with a number of volunteers in Maine communities that help with physical projects, coordinate fundraisers, and assist with administrative support. If you are interested in volunteering with LEAP, please contact Lynne Hunter at lhunter@leapcommunity.org.

Non-monetary Gifts – LEAP accepts items at various times during the year for our fundraising summer yard sale, or to be used by supported individuals. If you have something to donate, please contact Lynne Hunter at lhunter@leapcommunity.org.
