I have been with LEAP since 1997. I had worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities previously, so I knew the system. What attracted me to LEAP was the culture of always putting the individual first and the focus on individualized high quality services.

I was familiar with LEAP from previous contact during my work with other agencies, and I was consistently impressed by the number of positive interactions I had with employees across several different departments.

I began at LEAP, looking for a new job. I was unsatisfied with the jobs I had prior. I thought I would come to LEAP for a few months, something to hold me over. I found I really enjoyed the job. I was eager to go to work. The people I worked with always had me smiling. I thought I was looking for a job, turns out I found my career.
I joined LEAP on January 1, 2023, as the Human Resources Director, and I can confidently say that LEAP is the most employee-centric organization I’ve had the privilege of working for in my career.
