Darryl has worked for LEAP since 1997 as a program administrator. His desire to change people's attitudes towards individuals of varying abilities has led him down a variety of paths at LEAP, including training coordinator, residential director and now executive director. The ability to have a dynamic and engaged workforce dedicated to making positive differences in the lives of people supported has always been and remains a top priority. Prior to coming to LEAP, Darryl worked in nursing, mental health and disability services. He has attended the University of Maine, the University of Delaware and the Sawtelle Institute, acquiring degrees in nursing and certificates in leadership and business. Darryl lives in New Sharon with his wife Rebecca and daughters Naomi and Natalie. He loves the outdoors and enjoys all the gifts the Western Maine mountains, lakes and rivers have to offer.
